Delete your Based account

You can permanently delete your account at any time.

In the app or on the web

  1. Open the Based app, or go to based-social.com/app and log in.
  2. Tap You.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

By email

If you can't log in, email support@based-social.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We'll confirm within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your profile, photos, verification selfie, interests, likes, matches, messages, posts, comments and call records are permanently deleted.

What may be kept

If an account was banned for breaking our rules, a device identifier may be kept to stop the same person rejoining. Nothing else is kept.
